Objective

Gigi Cowan-Bondick is a devoted public servant and upstanding member of Massachusetts’ non-profit community. Though she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest, Gigi Cowan-Bondick also spends time aiding Heading Home, an organization that provides housing and support services to homeless, formerly homeless, and low-income families in various Massachusetts communities. As part of Heading Home, Cowan-Bondick has been part of a dedicated group of volunteers that has helped move families from shelters into better and more permanent housing. These moves from shelters to permanent housing are called “Up and Out” moves. An Up and Out move involves a group of local families sponsoring another family in need. This sponsorship entails help with cleaning, furnishing, and outfitting the family’s new and permanent home. Local community members can help Heading Home’s cause by contributing and volunteering. Learn more about why Gigi Cowan-Bondick and so many other wonderful volunteers feel so strongly about Heading Home’s cause at www.headinghomeinc.org.
